lifestyle on lock
DIRT ROAD was born from the workshop, tested on the trail, and built for everyone who lives for the journey - not just the destination.
Founded by Rob Butler, the driving force behind Off-Road Armoury since 2008, DIRT ROAD brings two decades of off-road engineering expertise to the everyday adventurer. Rob's still building championship-winning race vehicles and competing at events like King of the Hammers, but he knows that off-road passion extends far beyond the racecourse - to unmapped trails, remote campsites, and long weekends where the only rule is to keep moving forward.
We've spent years building vehicles that can handle the most extreme terrain on earth. Now we're applying that same engineering mindset to the gear you actually use - Durability over disposability.
DIRT ROAD isn't just another outdoor brand. It's the natural extension of Off-Road Armoury - taking precision engineering and applying it to adventure lifestyle. Whether you're overlanding across continents, greenlaning through the countryside, or just escaping the noise for a weekend under canvas, we understand what you need because we live it too.
Designed in the UK. Built to Last.
From the Workshop to the Wilderness
Every product that carries the DIRT ROAD name is designed and manufactured right here in Britain. We don't do gimmicks. We don't chase trends. We just create gear and apparel that works - because when you're living the lifestyle, that's all that matters.
This is DIRT ROAD. Where race-proven engineering meets adventure culture. Where functionality matters more than hype. Every product is built by people who actually get out there & use it.

CNC LASER CUT
Precision-engineered right here in the UK. Every piece of DIRT ROAD Laser Cut kit is designed and manufactured in our Sussex workshop - cut with care, built to last.

kit we use
We don't sell anything we wouldn't chuck in our own truck. Every product gets tested in the real world before it goes in the shop - because our reputation rides on it.

proper proven
No marketing fluff. No untested prototypes. Just gear that's been through the wringer and come out the other side ready for whatever you throw at it.
